FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

Every gallery delivered contains a minimum of 60 images, most of my sessions result in around 60 - 120 edited photos.

What’s the best age to have a newborn session?

The best age for a newborn session is from 7-35 days. This is so we can achieve those squishy poses your newborn sleepy baby. Don't worry if your baby is older, I do photograph babies of any age as each milestone is just as important as the newborn stage!

We don’t feel too confident in front of the camera, any tips?

My sessions are fun and relaxed, I’ll guide you and give you gentle directions and prompts so you don't feel stuck or unsure of what to do. Focusing on having a fun family hour of play and connection is where the very best images are taken!

What happens if the weather is bad on our session day?

Moody weather makes for great pictures! I shoot outdoor sessions in any kind of weather except the rain/ thunderstorms. I will confirm or reschedule your outdoor session in the morning of your session day.

How do we book a session?

Once you've had a look at my portfolio and you feel like we're the right fit, please get in touch via our contact page to book a session. I look forward to hearing from you!

Are you vaccinated?

As I have a baby boy myself, all my vaccinations up to date which allows me to be around newborn babies.

What should we wear?

I provide assistance by sharing a wardrobe guide after the booking fee is paid. Generally soft, light, pastels and neutral/ earthy colours- whites, creams and beige are best. Solid colours are better than patterns. I have a growing client wardrobe that any ladies are welcome to browse prior to the session and several newborn knit outfits to choose from.
This is your shoot so I recommend wearing something you feel comfortable in!

When is the best time to book my session?

If you are booking a newborn session, it is best to contact me during your pregnancy, it’s never too early! I will pencil in your due date, then once your baby has arrived we can finalise a time and date for your session. It is best to photograph your newborn during the first two weeks.
Maternity sessions are best around the 34-37 week mark, but can be done at any stage. Family sessions are welcome at any time and it’s best to book early if you have a specific date in mind. Weekend sessions are limited.

What if we’re sick and we need to reschedule?

If you or your little ones are sick on the day of the session, we reschedule for another day. Same goes for me, if I am unwell I’ll let you know asap so we will find another date.
There is no fee to reschedule your session.

When will we receive our photos?

Your gallery will be delivered within 2-4 weeks of our session. If, for any reason, the time frame will be longer, I will advise you as soon as possible.

How do we pay?

A booking fee of $150 to secure your date is due via bank transfer. Please note that this is non-refundable but is transferable to a later date should something come up. The remainder is due 1 week prior to your session either by transfer or cash.

What if I want to cancel?

If you need to reschedule due to illness please get in touch and we will find a different date. If you choose to cancel for any reason, the booking fee is non-refundable.
